Support Election Reform in Nevada

As a Nevadan, I demand an election process in which it is easy to vote and hard to cheat. I am writing to urge you to support election law reform in Nevada. Senate Bill 405 would repeal universal mail-in voting, require residents to produce IDs when casting ballots and establish earlier deadlines for mail ballots. It would also require the issuance of free voter identification cards for those unable to afford them.

Restoring faith and timeliness to our election process is critical to the civic well-being of our state. Election integrity is necessary if Nevadans are to have confidence that each and every vote they cast will count. The changes outlined in SB 405 would help to restore trust in Nevada’s election systems.

Free and fair elections are a foundational component of political freedom, and there can be no democracy without them. I urge you to support Senate Bill 405 and its goal to safeguard our state’s electoral processes.
